Pray for ALL People

Updated: Dec 28, 2023

As Christians, we have a duty to hold on to the horns of the altar even when/if things don’t go our way. This tells us to pray for ALL people—nobody is excluded!

I am FULLY PERSUADED no matter who is seated in the White House, Jesus is STILL SEATED ON THE THRONE! People will continue to complain—there’s been so much division amongst the people and many hearts have even been hardened. Scripture tells us this would happen—it’s been happening for generations more-so now but one thing is True—The government rests upon Jesus' shoulders!

He is WONDERFUL COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, The EVERLASTING Father, Prince of Peace.

Even if people “don’t like what’s happening”, I urge you to pray more and complain less. PRAY FOR GOD’s will to be done and NOT OUR OWN! Remember, the Word tells us to pray for ALL PEOPLE—this includes whoever is seated in government, every rioter, every enemy, every friend, every brother, and every sister.

Matthew 5:44 says, “But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!”

In your devotional time, continue to read all of 1 Timothy 2.

In a time when our former President is about to walk out of the White House and the new President will take his place, let's not forget what Paul urges the people of God to do--pray for all men, including those who are seated in authority.
